The stolen pet snakes have been found alive after they were dumped in a dumpster outside a restaurant near the gas station where they were originally taken.
I am on the way to pick up the snakes now. The owner has not yet responded, but the snakes have been confirmed as hers. A further update will be shared once they are safely recovered.
For those who missed the original story, a Hood News Peep asked for help identifying three individuals after her pet snakes were taken at a gas station off Beltway 8 near Aldine Westfield.
The owner and her boyfriend were approached by three men who asked to see the snakes. Something did not feel right to her, so she took pictures of them.
Moments later, the individuals took the snakes, ran to a vehicle parked behind them and left the area.
Thankfully, the snakes have now been located
