A Hood News Peep shared that a suspect was seen attempting to break into her father’s truck after reportedly breaking into other vehicles in the 3500 block of Darlinghurst Dr, near W Orem Dr and Buffalo Speedway.
According to the Hood News Peep, her parents were walking their dog when they saw the suspect attempting to break into the truck through their Ring camera. Her father confronted him and released the dog, which chased the suspect and grabbed his pants. The suspect then jumped onto a vehicle and fell through its back window.
The father and several neighbors held the 18 year old suspect down until officers arrived. During the struggle, the Hood News Peep said the suspect bit her father three times on his back and arms. Her father was later taken to the hospital for treatment.
The Hood News Peep believes the suspect may not have been alone because someone was heard whistling nearby while he was being held. If you stay in the area, please keep your heads on a swivel.

The young man allegedly told the Hood News Peep’s dad that he’s been to Jail before and he knows he will be out soon. The entire neighborhood is on high alert.
