IN CUSTODY: Richard Taplin Charged with Murder in Sister’s Fatal Shooting on MLK Blvd
Richard Taplin was charged with murder in the fatal shooting of his sister at 8100 MLK Blvd on Saturday, April 27. Taplin was arrested in Phoenix, Arizona, on Monday, May 20, and is awaiting extradition to Harris County.

Last night, Good Samaritans were first on the scene of a major crash which left two people trapped inside an overturned vehicle. Both occupants of the overturned vehicle made it out with only minor injuries. Shoutout to all the Good Samaritans for acting quick and staying by their side!
