Southeast Family in Fear After Targeted Shooting Leaves One Injured
A local family is living in fear after a shooting incident that occurred last night left one of their loved ones critically injured. According to the family, the house was the first of two homes targeted in a series of reckless shootings carried out by a group of individuals. The family’s loved one, who was inside the home at the time, was struck in the back, with the bullet exiting through his chest. He also sustained a graze wound to his forehead. Fortunately, despite the seriousness of his injuries, he is expected to make a full recovery.
“We thank God that he survived. He was just grazed in the forehead, but being shot in the back and that bullet coming out through his chest is something we’re all still trying to process,” a family member shared. “We’re just trying to understand everything that’s going on.”
The family believes their home was targeted by the assailants, with video footage showing the suspects targeting a second house just a few doors down shortly after the initial attack. They don’t understand why because no one in the house has issues with anyone. They have shared photos of the interior of the home, which show extensive damage from the gunfire.
Despite the ongoing investigation, the family is left shaken and scared to return home, fearing the possibility of further violence now that the suspects may be aware they are being sought.

If this is you in the video shooting recklessly, just know that there is a neighborhood of people and law-enforcement looking for you. You shot into innocent peoples houses and you shot somebody’s dad. We’re getting a lot of information and we know that people have been shooting at your apartment as well. Whatever the problem is, leave it alone and concern yourselves with your freedom. Law enforcement is patrolling that area and they know who you are.
