Family Still Searching for Answers in the 2015 Killing of Shelbey Thornburgh

Shelbey Thornburgh’s family is still seeking answers, and they’re asking for the community’s help.
On Wednesday, November 4, 2015, around 9 p.m., 20-year-old Shelbey Thornburgh was killed inside her apartment in the 7500 block of Bellaire Boulevard at the Conquistador Apartments in Houston, TX. Shelbey was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries caused by an unknown sharp object.
Investigators believe she met with an unknown white male suspect shortly before her death. Video surveillance captured this man arriving and leaving the building during the timeframe Shelbey was killed.
Suspect description:
White male, wearing a light-colored long-sleeve shirt, shorts, tennis shoes, and sunglasses.
This case remains open and active as investigators search for new leads. The family is pleading for anyone who recognizes this individual or has information about what happened to come forward.
