Arrest update to the shooting incident that occurred overnight in the 24700 block of Hufsmith Kohrville Road in North Harris County:
The victim has been identified as Malcolm Wayne Lee (25) and the suspect as Emily Rose Seeman (4-25-02)
Upon arrival, Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies discovered Malcolm unresponsive from apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital and was pronounced deceased upon arrival.
While still on scene, responding deputies learned that a possible suspect had fled prior to their arrival through a wooded area. Deputies worked collaboratively with several other partner agencies in setting a perimeter and locating the alleged shooter.
HCSO CSI and Homicide detectives responded to the scene to conduct the follow-up investigation. Detectives charged Emily with Murder in the shooting death of the victim.
It was learned that Emily and Malcolm had been in a dating relationship prior to the shooting. Detectives also learned that Lee and his new girlfriend arrived at the location to visit a friend and Emily was already there. An argument ensued between the two which ultimately led to the shooting.
Emily was booked in the Harris County Jail.
