TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO ARREST OF WANTED BURGLARY SUSPECTS LINKED TO MULTIPLE CRIMES IN LOUISIANA!
Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office, along with the Constable K-9 Unit, conducted a traffic stop in the 14100 block of Cypress N. Houston Road, resulting in the arrest of a male and female wanted on multiple felony burglary warrants.
During the investigation, the female suspect was identified and confirmed to be wanted out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on four felony burglary warrants.
While deputies were on scene, the female’s boyfriend arrived and was also identified as having an open felony warrant out of Jefferson County (Beaumont, Texas) for Engaging in Organized Crime, in addition to nine felony burglary warrants out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Further investigation revealed the couple is linked to nine burglaries of motor vehicles in West Baton Rouge, Louisiana, involving approximately $13,000 in damages and stolen property.
Both suspects were taken into custody without incident.
The Texas DPS Violent Task Force and Baton Rouge Police Department Detectives responded to assist with the investigation and coordination of the case.
