Charges have been filed against 18-year-old Ignacio Lopez in the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Eliseo Murillo on Bauman Road around 11:15 AM that day (March 15).According to HPD, Murillo was walking northbound on Bauman Road when a vehicle pulled up. Lopez got out and fired multiple times, striking Murillo, who was found in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Lopez fled after the shooting but was later identified as the suspect. He was arrested on March 18 and charged with murder.
