On Monday morning, law enforcement agencies carried out a large operation targeting what investigators say was a long-running illegal gambling network based in La Marque and surrounding areas.
Authorities served 21 search warrants, including raids at several game rooms, a warehouse, a residence, and multiple financial institutions as part of an investigation into alleged illegal gambling operations and possible money laundering.

202 Industrial Boulevard, Suite 806, Sugar Land, Texas (Warehouse)
5200 Block of Kendall Ridge Lane, Sugar Land, Texas (Residence)
Detectives also obtained warrants for records from 12 financial institutions as they investigate the flow of money tied to the alleged gambling enterprise.
The investigation remains active, and officials have not yet released information regarding arrests, criminal charges, or evidence seized. Additional details are expected to be released at a later time.
The operation involved assistance from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, Galveston Police Department, League City Police Department, and the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office.
