A few months ago, we covered the story of a dog left inside a white Suburban during the cold weather for days withoutt food, water or exercise. We made a bunch of noise and BARC picked up the pup.
That dog, later named Big Red by BARC, was rescued by an independent rescuer named Amy Dale Delsanter. Amy, who owns a boarding and rescue facility and has saved hundreds of dogs over the years, immediately pulled Big Red from BARC, renamed him Vegas, and found him a loving home.
Vegas is now on his way to his new family on the East Coast. Amy tagged us in the update post on Facebook!
