Hood News Peeps living at the Buena Villa Apartments near Bellfort and 59 reached out after a major disturbance broke out late last night. A large altercation involving multiple people caused panic throughout the complex.
HPD responded to the scene and detained some individuals, but Hood News Peeps say not everyone involved was taken into custody, leaving many families uneasy. Video from the incident shows that a machete was involved during the confrontation, adding to the fear among residents.
Folks want more attention to what’s happening inside the complex before things escalate again.
