Yesterday evening, there was a heavy police presence near Youpon Valley Drive and Pin Oak Ridge Street.
According to reports, Precinct 4 Constable Deputies responded to a carjacking in the area. A male suspect stole a 2024 GMC 3500 Denali from a female victim.
As the suspect fled the scene, he crashed into several vehicles throughout the neighborhood, causing chaos and damage. One of our sharp-eyed Hood News Peeps caught part of the wild scene on video — the suspect trying to make a run for it before crashing into a large canal nearby.
