Near Langley and Homestead Rd, a woman was caught on video at a gas station counter taking a wallet that did not belong to her. She was wearing a shirt with “KINGWOOD” printed on it. For those skeptical of the theft, we have video evidence of her action.
Update: We’ve received several tips, but identifying her has been challenging due to the heavy use of filters in her photos. Surprisingly, even the surveillance footage seems filtered. This individual, who stole a wallet from a gas station counter, has been attempting to use the cards within it, including an EBT card belonging to a Hood News Peep.

Earlier, we reported about a woman who took a wallet left on a gas station counter, a wallet belonging to one of our Hood News community members. The thief used the peep’s EBT card at HEB. With over 30 tips received tonight, it didn’t take long to find a match that was more than 75% accurate. Great job, Hood News Peeps!
