CONSTABLES ARREST 20 SUSPECTS FOR SOLICITATION OF PROSTITUTION DURING A MULTI-DAY STREET LEVEL OPERATION!!
On March 20, 2025, investigators with Constable Mark Herman’s Criminal Investigations Division, Special Operations Unit, K9 Unit, and Drone Operations Unit, along with multiple Harris County Constable agencies conducted a multi-day operation. This operation was conducted on the streets of Harris County Precinct 4 and specifically targeted Prostitution and related aspects of Human Trafficking.
As a result of the operation, twenty (20) male suspects ranging in age of their late teens to late 50s were arrested and charged with Solicitation of Prostitution after soliciting sexual acts from undercover investigators. This charge is a State Jail Felony. Some of these defendants were also charged with additional felonies, namely Promotion of Prostitution, Evading in a Motor Vehicle, and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Misdemeanors for Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon and Possession of Marijuana were also filed, along with over $2600.00 in cash seized.
Rescuing victims of human trafficking and a safe environment for our communities are a top priority for Constable Herman, his deputies, investigators, and his law enforcement partners in Harris County. Constable Herman supports his Investigators in fighting this criminal issue from multiple angles, including both the supply and the demand facets of Prostitution.
