This morning there was a fatal wrong-way crash involving four vehicles shut down all southbound lanes of 45 near Crosstimbers.
HPD received calls at 3 AM about a black Ford F-150 driving wrong way in the southbound lanes. The wrong-way driver, a 35 year-old woman, crashed head-on into a silver Jeep, killing the 50 year-old male driver. Two other vehicles were also involved, hitting road debris and the at-fault driver’s vehicle.
Its believed that the suspect had been driving the wrong way for 10 to 15 minutes before the crash. She was taken into custody for signs of impairment and is expected to be charged with intoxication manslaughter
