Deputies arrested a man for using a handgun to threaten a work crew installing fiber-optic cables in the front yard of a home in the 5600 block of Briarwood Forrest Dr., in the Inwood North community in Northwest Harris County.
Joseph Angel Fernandez, 36, is charged l with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The felony carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison. Fernandez allegedly “racked the slide” of a handgun, told the workers not to leave a mess and warned them to be gone by the time he returns home, “or something will happen.”
