A Hood News Peep out of El Campo, TX just sent in a disturbing video that is circulating on social media showing her Uncle Kerry asleep when an individual identified by the last name Jones is seen on video pouring lighter fluid on him and setting him on fire. The incident was recorded in a 24 second video that cuts off and was uploaded to Snapchat on an account with James Ja’Vonte as the name/handle.
The El Campo Police Department is currently investigating the incident. I spoke to his niece and she told me that El Campo PD is conducting a welfare check on her Uncle Kerry.
Anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact authorities. This was very hard to watch. Why are people like this?
