Fatal Shooting at 8650 North Houston Rosslyn Road – February 13
Houston police have arrested 21 year-old Adan Garcia in connection with the fatal shooting of a 44-year-old man at 8600 block of North Houston Rosslyn Road around 11:55 PM on Friday (February 13).
Officers responded to a robbery call at the location and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. HFD paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Investigators learned the victim’s vehicle was missing. officers later located the vehicle nearby and a traffic stop. The driver, identified as Garcia, was detained.
After further investigation and consultation with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, Garcia was charged with capital murder in the 486th Criminal District Court. He has since been booked into the Harris County Jail.
The victim’s identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
