UPDATE 11:44am: Grimes County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the escape inmate from Waller County, shot himself at 5291 Trinity Street in Richards, Salvador Saucedo. He was at his girlfriend’s home.
Richards VFD was responding to a fire at the residence.
The suspect was transported to Conroe Regional Hospital with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. He is reportedly in stable condition.
