A Hood News Peep witnessed a crash earlier today near Gulf Freeway and Monroe, involving a Ford truck and a black Impala. She followed the Ford after the crash and recorded video near the intersection of I-45 Northbound and Monroe.
While documenting the situation, the Hood News Peep was confronted and assaulted by a woman, who struck her and knocked her phone to the ground. She is currently waiting for police to arrive.
