Help with Cold Case 1989, Justice for Brenda Gail Rochelle

A Hood News Peep sent the following message:
Hello Grizzy and Peeps,
Cold Case 1989 Brenda Gail Rochelle was found in Lake Houston that is now Duessen Park. She was taken from home in 5th ward on Hailey St and bound, hog tied with cement bricks (what is used to sit the houses on in 5th ward) she was missing for 11 days and fishermen saw her body on March 11. At the time, law enforcement did not take our family serious and did not start investigating until her body was found…the family later found out she was murdered at home. No one has been arrested/charged. It has been 35 years and we want justice. All news outlets carried her story but you can’t find anything if you google her. It’s like all info has been scrubbed from internet. Also, any DNA evidence was destroyed during Tropical storm Alison.

Please help my family. I was 14 when this happened and it still haunts me to this day.
My name is Kimberlyn she was my Aunt, my mom’s baby sister. My mom passed and my grandmother along with 2 of her sisters. Please help us get answers!
