Houston Fire Stations 20, 23, 26, and 29 were on the scene at 8282 Park Place, working to extinguish a fire that had broken out in an apartment. One firefighter and two civilians were transported to the emergency room with minor injuries. Residents were advised to avoid the area due to heavy emergency traffic.
