HPD JUST RELEASEED THE FOLLOWING UPDATE:
A short time ago, suspect Robert Lee Davis, was shot by law enforcement officers behind the businesses near the original shooting scene on Stella Link.
The suspect is deceased. The suspect shot a K9 and the pup was life flighted to the hospital. No word on the K9s condition.
The manhunt for Robert Lee Davis, also known as Sean Christopher Davis, has come to an end. Davis was wanted for fatally shooting Brazoria County Sheriff’s Deputy Vargas.
The search took place near the 9300 block of Stella Link Rd., close to the 610 South Loop. Residents were urged to remain vigilant during the active investigation. Davis has been taken down, and there is no longer a threat to the public.
