Wanted to see if we could try a come on down.
I know your reach is far & even though the incident occurred in Baytown, that is a known location for the refinery workers and maybe the person was just there overnight. Might be a long shot, but worth it.
We travelled to Wallisville Tx for a wedding. We travelled 20 mins back and stopped at the Hilton Garden hotel off I-10 & Garth Rd. Where the rest of the wedding party, parents, aunts and uncles stayed for the night.
At around check out time 10:45-11am, someone broke into my boyfriend’s truck.
They found my engagement ring and stole it.
He cried the whole way driving home. He didn’t even get a chance to propose, I’m guessing he planned to asking on New years, since we had plans to have all his brothers and family together.
He bought the ring from Helzberg at Willowbrook on 12/24. So didn’t have it even a whole week. He spent countless hours at work and sacrifices time away from us and our 6 kids to save and buy that ring.
We filed a police report & someone saw the incident occur and provide us with the pictures.
It appears to be a 2018 GMC Terrain.
We contacted the pawn shops and they made us aware of the database they keep to filter with the law enforcement stolen goods department. However if we could have someone come forward by recognizing the vehicle. I just want my original ring that HE felt I deserved. & maybe we can still have a good start to our new year. All our kids knew and they were so excited. But to come up with another 4k for the same ring will take time & in all honesty he knows I’ll take a paper ring
