A Hood News Peep reached out seeking justice for her daughter, who was killed and whose accused killer is still on the run.
That suspect, Javian D. Paley, was added to the FBI Houston Most Wanted fugitive list back in January and is still at large, wanted for the murder of Lashawn Grays.
Lashawn, 22, was shot and killed at an apartment complex in the 8700 block of Point Park near Highway 6 and West Road. Investigators said she was visiting a unit when Paley, her ex boyfriend and the father of her 2 year old daughter, shot her before fleeing the scene. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Paley was later charged with murder, but months later, he remains on the run. There is up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to his arrest as Lashawn’s family continues to wait for justice.
