On March 26, 2026 at approximately 8:32 a.m., Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 11500 block of Champion Forest Drive in reference to an aggravated assault call.
Upon arrival, a Corporal made contact with the victim, who reported that a male suspect had threatened her with a machete. The victim stated she was en route to work and had stopped near the 9500 block of Grant Road when an unknown male began yelling at her. The suspect then made multiple threats to cause serious bodily injury while pointing a machete in her direction.
Following a thorough investigation, the suspect was identified as Lawrence Taylor. A warrant has been obtained for his arrest.
“Lawrence Taylor is currently wanted by law enforcement for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. (HC2603-03503)His bond was set at $50,000.00 out of the 486th District Court.
