A man was working on his car when a suspect attempted to steal it. During the incident, the victim grabbed onto part of the vehicle as the suspect drove away, dragging him approximately from Sheraton Oaks Dr to Antoine Dr.
The victim was dragged to the intersection of Antoine Dr and Hollyview Dr, where the suspect fled the scene. HFD responded to the scene. The man died from his injuries.
Police Officers have located the suspect vehicle at an apartment complex in north Houston. While officers recovered the vehicle, the driver has not been found.
The investigation remains active, and HPD is searching for the suspect.
