A Harris County Sheriff’s Office Motorist Assistance Program (MAP) unit was rear-ended earlier today in the 7300 block of North I-610 East, near the Kirkpatrick exit. The deputy assigned to the unit sustained minor injuries and is expected to be okay.
The vehicle that struck the MAP truck was reported stolen. Both the driver and a passenger from the striking vehicle have been detained. A Hood News Peep sent this in.
