Last night before midnight a woman in her 20s was fatally shot and a man in his 40s was left injured after a shooting in Northeast Houston.
HPD Officers out of Northeast patrol responded to gunshots on Hage Street near the Parker Rd/59 North area and found a woman with a gunshot wound to her stomach. Officers attempted life-saving measures and HFD took her to the hospital, but unfortunately, she passed away upon arrival.
The man who was also shot suffered gunshot wounds to the upper body was transported to the hospital and his condition is currently unknown.
The two were in a relationship and got into a physical altercation before the shooting. Both were shot at the same time.
The investigation is ongoing. On a side note, last year we were out there at the same residence after a man was shot and killed.
