PARENT REPORTS CONCERNING ENCOUNTER INVOLVING YOUNG GIRLS NEAR DEADY MIDDLE SCHOOL IN HOUSTON

A concerned mother is asking for the public’s help after reporting two concerning encounters involving an unidentified man near Deady Middle School, located off Broadway Street in Houston.
According to the Hood News Peep, the first incident occurred yesterday morning when her 13-year-old daughter and several of her friends were standing outside the school.
The Peep stated that an unidentified man pulled up in a vehicle, rolled down his window, and allegedly attempted to get the girls’ attention. She said the man began asking the girls for their TikTok accounts and other social media information so he could contact them.
When the girls refused to provide their information, the mother said the man allegedly told them, “I’ll see you tomorrow morning.”
Then today, the Peep reported that the same individual was spotted at a gas station located at 2610 Broadway Street, near the school.
Surveillance footage from the gas station shows the man parked near a gas pump. She stated that when her daughter and her friends appeared at the gas station, the man exited his vehicle and walked inside the store.
The mother also reported that the footage appears to show the man smiling toward the girls as they were leaving. She further stated that while pumping gas, he appeared to be looking in the direction of the school, where the girls had previously been standing.
After recognizing the individual, the mother’s daughter immediately contacted her to let her know he was at the gas station.
The mother rushed to the location, but the man had already left before she arrived. The mother confirmed that she filed a report with the Houston Police Department, which was documented as a harassment report. She also stated that Deady Middle School filed a separate report with HISD Police.
At this time, the allegations are based on the mother’s account, and the man’s intentions have not been independently established. No criminal charges or findings of wrongdoing have been confirmed.
Anyone with information about the reported encounters is encouraged to contact the Houston Police Department or HISD Police so the information can be properly investigated.
The safety of children traveling to and from school is a serious concern, and the family hopes the circumstances surrounding these encounters can be clarified.

I’m sharing about the incident, but I cannot post this man’s face because he didn’t do anything unlawful. There’s no interaction. It wouldn’t be fair to post him. if there were a video of the interaction when he said these things to the girls then I would post. I’m trying to find a way to bring attention to the situation, but we have no proof on this man harassing the students, but there is a police report for it. Everyone please just be very vigilant if you have students coming and going in the area.
