Planet Fitness Employee Accused of Filming Men in Restroom

A disturbing situation recently unfolded at the Planet Fitness on East Freeway near Uvalde. A Hood News Peep confronted a male employee in the restroom after he was allegedly caught filming men while they were using the toilet. One peep was sitting on the toilet when he saw the phone pointed at him through restroom stall crack.

The Peep — along with a couple of other men — demanded to see the employee’s phone. While going through it, they reportedly found deleted images showing different men on the toilet, appearing to be taken at different times. I’ve reviewed video of the confrontation myself and have censored the sensitive content, but it clearly shows man sitting on toilets.

As of now, the man has not been arrested or officially charged. The individuals involved say they are working on pressing charges and are waiting on the next steps.

This is still a developing story. As always, everyone is considered innocent until proven guilty. This is a serious matter involving alleged invasion of privacy that deserves attention.
