In the vicinity of the 100 block of Walnut Drive near Wallisville and Beltway 8, United States Marshals Service Gulf Coast Violent Offenders task force members were executing a warrant related to felony drug charges. During the operation, both a member of the Marshals and one from HCSO discharged their weapons, striking a male suspect. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among law enforcement personnel. The wounded suspect, reportedly in critical condition, has been transported to a hospital for treatment.
