A peep reached out to us to share what her family experienced while managing her 65-year-old retired mother’s rental property. She said the tenant moved in at the end of April, allegedly never paid rent, and was ultimately court-ordered to vacate the home through the eviction process. After regaining possession, the family says they found extensive damage to the property and hopes sharing their experience serves as a cautionary tale for other landlords.
