At the intersection of Monroe and the Gulf Freeway, a tragic event unfolded when a store clerk was fatally shot during a robbery at the Chevron Gas Station. Houston Police Department officers swiftly responded to the scene, where three suspects are reported to have fled after the incident. Currently, Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Units are conducting a thorough investigation. A member of the Hood News community has provided an image from the scene.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim’s family during this incredibly difficult time. This incident occurs just months after a similar tragedy at the same location, where a taco truck owner was also shot and killed.
