HPD North Patrol officers responded to a shooting near Lindale St and Trumbull St in north Houston around 8:25 AM today. A man and a woman were found deceased. The woman had just dropped off her children at school.
Police said the call first came in as a drive-by shooting, but they believe it may involve domestic violence. Family members told police there was an argument with an ex before the shooting.
The suspect is now in custody. A neighbor obtained the license plate number of the red-colored Ford Fusion, helping police track him down. He was located well away from the shooting scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
