Katy | 2000 block of Edendale Circle near S. Mason Road
Harris County Sheriff’s Office CSI and Homicide Detectives responded earlier to a residence in the 2000 block of Edendale Circle near S. Mason Road in Katy.
According to preliminary information, members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force were at the location conducting a warrant service. After officers breached the door, a gunshot was heard inside the residence.
The individual believed to be the wanted man was found with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased at the scene. No law enforcement officers were reported injured
