Suspect in Fatal ShootingHPD is searching for the man wanted in the fatal shooting of 54-year-old John Crockett that occurred around 10:45 AM on October 22 in the 7900 block of Comal Street.
According to HPD Homicide Detectives, Crockett was driving when the suspect approached his vehicle and made contact with him. The suspect then shot Crockett multiple times, causing him to lose control of his vehicle and crash into a telephone pole. Crockett was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect, described as wearing a blue shirt, blue pants, and black shoes, was seen riding a bicycle before the incident and later fled southbound on foot.
