On September 10, 2024, charges were filed against Jonathan Jesus Aguilar, 19, and Carlos Jose Aguilar, 25, in connection with the shooting of three men at 1701 Fulton Street on August 17. Both suspects are charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and are currently at large. A preliminary investigation determined an altercation occurred at the residence and it is believed the suspects later returned and shot all three victims, who were outside. The victims were taken to the hospital in stable condition. HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found three men suffering from gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victims to area hospitals.
MESSAGE FROM FAMILY MEMBER OF THE VICTIMS:
On August 17, my husband and his two brothers were brutally shot outside our home. My husband was injured in the torso, one of my brothers-in-law was shot in the arm and chest, leaving him with no mobility in his right arm, and my second brother-in-law is currently in ICU. He tragically lost a kidney and has severe injuries to his bowel but is in recovery. We need justice for them and to find the suspects responsible. Please help us spread this message.
