36-year-old Damon Price lost his life this morning at the hands of two young individuals attempting to steal a golf cart from the Houston Farmers Market on Airline. The victim was shot as he tried to assist a security guard in stopping the two suspects from leaving with the golf cart, and he died at the scene. Damon, who was from Northeast Houston, leaves behind two daughters, family, and many who loved him. He had been working at the Houston Farmers Market for almost two years and was well-liked and hardworking. He is described as a person who always gave back to the community, and he was excited for his upcoming Back to School Supply Drive Event. This kind man wanted to see young people succeed in life, and ironically, it was at the hands of young people that his life was taken. I’m in communication with his family, and they are asking for your help to find and identify the two individuals responsible for Damon’s death. Please continue to keep them in your prayers and help find those responsible for this innocent man’s death. Summer is here, and school is out. Watch your children if you aren’t already. Children with no parental guidance are out here hurting innocent people.
