Turkey Leg Hut Owner’s Boyfriend Back in Jail — Now Accused of Witness Tampering from Behind Bars

Remember the boyfriend of the Turkey Leg Hut owner who got locked up after kidnapping and brutally attacking his ex? Well, here’s an update on that situation.
On October 13, 2025, Jonathan Saizon was locked up on new charges for Aggravated Kidnapping and Aggravated Assault after losing his bond on older cases for Evading in a Vehicle and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
While waiting for court, investigators say Saizon has been “SPN swapping.” That means he’s been using other inmates’ jail ID numbers to make phone calls — basically trying to hide who he’s really calling so law enforcement won’t catch it. On October 20, 2025, around 1:38 PM, Saizon made a call telling someone to call (–).** A few hours later, around 4:16 PM, another call went out to that same number from a different inmate’s ID. The man on that call sounded just like Saizon and even said, “It’s a crime for me to contact you, but I don’t give a f.”*
During the call, he asked the person to sign an affidavit for his lawyer. The person on the phone said things like “my head… it’s still messed up,” which matches what Saizon is accused of — hitting the victim in the head with a tire iron.
Investigators now believe Saizon has been contacting the victim — something he’s not allowed to do. They also say in one call, he told someone to send “my family” to a woman’s house on Thursday, which happens to be the day of his next court date. Because of this, the State believes Saizon is trying to tamper with a witness and violate his bond conditions.
He remains in custody awaiting trial and could face even more charges for what investigators are calling witness tampering and bond violations.
