HPD is investigating the fatal shooting of Maria Flores, who was found at the Sanctuary Apartments on 9430 Concourse Drive about 11:40 PM on September 4.
Maria’s family has reached out and they are asking for help from the Hood News Peeps. They are hoping that with the release of this latest photo caught from a surveillance camera, a name will be provided to HPD. All they need is a name.
Back on September 4, of this month, HPD patrol Officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and found an unresponsive Maria in a walkway. She had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced Maria deceased.
A preliminary investigation indicated that Maria was seen walking with the suspect, described only as a Hispanic male, just prior to the shooting. Surveillance photos of the suspect with the victim are attached to this news release.
