Elizabeth Rodriguez, 21, has been taken into custody.
Rodriguez was arrested Wednesday morning (March 25) in Laredo, Texas by the Laredo Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force.
She was wanted by HPD for her alleged role in a deadly home invasion shooting that occurred on January 21, 2022, at 7132 Avenue Q.
The incident left Juan Ramirez, and Apolonio Alvarado, dead after multiple masked suspects entered the home, opened fire, and assaulted a third victim.
Rodriguez is charged with capital murder in the 177th Criminal District Court.
Five other suspects connected to the case have already been identified and are in custody, including Victorya Ruby Venegas, Jozalyn Lawrence, Jacob Lee St John, Raul Gallegos, and Damien Vega.
The case remains under investigation.
