Vehicle Fire Shut Down 59 Near Grand Parkway

Around 12:55 PM, the northbound main lanes and northbound feeder of Highway 59 were shut down just north of Grand Parkway/99, after a vehicle crashed and caught fire.

Firefighters responded to the scene and worked to extinguish the flames as traffic was diverted around the area. Images sent in by Hood News Peeps show the vehicle in flames in fire while emergency crews worked the scene.
