A card skimmer was recently placed over a payment terminal at a grocery store near Bissonnet and Fondren. The device, disguised as a keypad, is used to steal customers’ payment information. A video shows an unidentified individual installing the skimmer, but they have not yet been arrested. Please be cautious, inspect card readers before use, and keep your heads on a swivel.
