A Hood News Peep sent in footage showing the scene where a 14-year-old male was taken into custody today in connection with Tuesday’s fatal shooting of 15-year-old Royce Witchet near Westfield High. There were other people inside the vehicle, but no word on any other arrest. The suspect’s arrest took place on Beltway 8 near Lockwood. Investigators believe the 14-year-old may also be a Spring ISD student.

Royce’s family, friends, classmates and community are grieving his loss. Our heartfelt condolences go out to all who knew him. Shoutout to HCSO VCAT.
