Houston police arrested Brandon Jermond Lewis, 27, following the fatal stabbing of a 55-year-old man in the 8800 block of Lockwood Dr around 2:35 PM Tuesday, September 22. Lewis is charged with murder in the 176th Criminal District Court.
Officers found the man in the roadway with a stab wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene. His name has not been released pending notification of his family.
A shoutout to the Good Samaritans pictured who helped detain the suspect until HPD Northeast Patrol officers arrived. Their quick actions prevented this man from committing further violence towards the community.
