HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Daniel Boyer, 77, was arrested after investigators say he communicated online with someone he believed was a 16-year-old girl and allegedly planned to meet up with her for sexual activity.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the arrest happened on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, during a joint operation with the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety. The operation focused on individuals suspected of using the internet to contact minors for sexual purposes.
Authorities say Boyer engaged in online conversations with someone he believed was a teenage girl and allegedly intended to meet her for sexual activity.
Boyer was taken into custody and charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor.
