Yesterday morning, the bandit you see in this video walked into a Walgreens in Bellaire TX and stole approximately $1,100 worth of FIFA World Cup merchandise before fleeing toward Bissonnet. After receiving information from the community that the suspect was hiding in the bushes nearby and later got into an Uber, Bellaire PD stopped the vehicle, identified the suspect as Gerald Dawson, and recovered all of the stolen merchandise.
Police credited tips from alert employees and residents with helping officers quickly locate the suspect and recover the stolen property.
