Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a shooting in the 5200 block of Aldine Mail Route near the Eastex Freeway in the Aldine area.
Authorities say a 17-year-old male was found in a parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck. A Good Samaritan who came across the teen loaded him into a vehicle and transported him to a nearby hospital.
He is currently reported to be in serious condition.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
