Texas Plains Dr. near Mound Rd. in the Hockley area
Harris County Sheriff’s Office Deputies are investigating the death of a 5 month-old baby boy who was found unresponsive inside a home early this morning.
Deputies responded to the 28700 block of Texas Plains Dr. in The Grand Prairie subdivision after receiving a report of an unresponsive child.
According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, when Deputies arrived, they found the baby unresponsive. Paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but the baby was pronounced deceased at the scene.
HCSO Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators remain at the home conducting an active investigation. The baby’s cause of death has not been released, and no additional information is available at this time.
